Responsibilities: * Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems on rubber processing equipment such as extruders, mixers, and molding machines. * Perform preventive maintenance tasks according to schedule to minimize unplanned downtime. * Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to support continuous production. * Read and interpret mechanical diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and technical documents. * Document all maintenance activities in logs or digital maintenance systems. * Assist in the installation and startup of new equipment or modifications to existing systems. * Collaborate with production, safety, and quality teams to ensure operational efficiency. * Comply with safety regulations including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), machine guarding, and proper use of tools and PPE. * Maintain an organized and safe work environment. Qualifications: Qualifications: * High school diploma or GED required; technical/vocational training preferred. * 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment; rubber or plastics industry experience is a plus. * Solid knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical troubleshooting. * Proficient with hand and power tools; welding or fabrication experience is beneficial. * Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks. * Comfortable with physical work, including lifting to 50 lbs. and working in industrial conditions (heat, noise, standing for long periods). Preferred Skills: * Forklift or man-lift certification. * Strong communication and organizational skills
