Overview: CHI Health Immanuel located in North Omaha just off of I-680 on 72nd Street offers a full-service hospital cancer center rehabilitation center specialty spine hospital and more. Responsibilities: The Maintenance Engineer position is under the direct supervision of the Facilities Operations Manager and the Director of Support Services. This position contributes to the mission and vision of CHI Health by Operating and maintaining critical building systems within the Real Estate Division. Required knowledge includes knowledge of diverse areas such as electrical, mechanical, HVAC, fire protection and cooling systems. Must be able to maintain, modify, adjust, calibrate, repair equipment and also continuously update knowledge of most non-clinical equipment and systems throughout the Real Estate Division. Qualifications: Minimum Requirements: * One (1) year of electro-mechanical experience and good knowledge of hand tools. * High School graduate or equivalent. * Must have the ability to analyze electro-mechanical problems and determine repairs needed; must have the ability to perform repairs after needs are determined. * Must have the versatility to fill other related positons, as applicable. * Valid Driver's License.
