Work today, get paid today! * Monthly Celebrations and recognitions New and Improved Benefits for 2024! * Quarterly Attendance Bonus Program Responsibilities: The Maintenance Assistant is responsible for providing preventative maintenance and repairs to facility equipment, furnishings and property. * Assisting with the implementation of a facility wide maintenance program that ensures the safety and well-being of residents, staff and visitors * Following established maintenance tasks according to policy and procedures and facility quality assurance standards * Maintaining all daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semiannual and seasonal preventative maintenance schedules for equipment and property * Performing unscheduled maintenance tasks as directed * Coordinating with other departments work schedules to avoid interference and unnecessary interruption IND123 Qualifications: Maintenance Assistant Qualifications * Have a thorough understanding of the best maintenance practices * The ability to read, write, speak and understand the English Language * The possession of an active driver's license in the State of employment. * Patience, a cheerful disposition, enthusiasm and a willingness to handle residents based on whatever maturity and physical level in which they are currently functioning * A high school diploma or GED is preferred, but not required * Have a Technical Schooling in electrical, plumbing, HVAC or mechanical is preferred but not required
