If you have experience in extrusion manufacturing (plastic extrusion, wire & cable extrusion, profile extrusion, tubing extrusion, or related continuous-process production), we definitely want to hear from you. Responsibilities:
What You'll Do
As an Operator, you'll play a key role in producing high-quality cable products by:
* Operate manufacturing machinery safely and efficiently
* Monitor and adjust process settings (speed, temperature, tension, material feed) to support stable extrusion line performance
* Assist with start-ups, changeovers, and material changes (resin/compound) to meet production schedules
* Perform in-process measurements and visual inspections; identify common extrusion defects (diameter/OD, surface marks, gels, voids) and escalate as needed
* Perform quality checks and follow standard work instructions
* Troubleshoot basic machine issues and report equipment concerns
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
* Achieve production targets and support team goals
* Accurately complete production documentation and system entries
Qualifications:
What We're Looking For
* High School Diploma or GED required
* Basic math and computer skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Prior manufacturing or machine operator experience preferred, but not required-training provided
* Prior extrusion experience highly preferred
