Overview: Elna Magnetics is looking for dedicated, conscientious individuals in our gapping and custom departments. We provide standard magnetic cores and accessories as an authorized distributor of several product lines and through our manufacturing services department we machine custom products to meet customer specifications. Our Machine Operators are responsible for operating various pieces of machine shop equipment used to manufacture magnetic products. Operators may perform setups and adjustments on specific machines. Responsibilities: Factors for success: * Have a mechanical aptitude * Adhere to health and safety regulations * Are able to make mathematical calculations efficiently and accurately * Experience using various measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and microscopes * Machining experience such as ferrite machining and/or operating surface grinders * Sharp eye for detail and a team player * Good communication skills * Are eager to learn new skills and seeking career progression * Are a US citizen due to ITAR regulations.
