Overview:
Shift: PRN, as needed. You will be a level II PRN, which requires you to work a minimum of 24 hours per month, (4) weekends per year and (2) holidays per year. Looking for someone with 1st or 2nd shift availability and option of working weekends.

Responsibilities:
* Perform MRI examinations following physician orders and departmental protocols.
* Verify patient identification, obtain relevant medical history, and explain procedures to ensure patient understanding and comfort.
* Operate MRI scanners and related equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images.
* Adhere to all MRI safety guidelines, including screening for contraindications and maintaining proper magnet room safety procedures.
* Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and collaborate with radiologists to determine if additional views or sequences are required.
* Participate in continuing education and training to maintain certification and keep current with advancements in MRI technology.
Qualifications:
Education:
* Graduate of an accredited School of Radiology or Graduate of an accredited School of Magnetic Resonance Imaging
Experience:
* 2 years of prior MRI experience
Certification/License:
* Current Radiologic Technologist certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
* Current MRI certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or six months supervised MRI clinical scanning experience
* Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or within three (3) months from date of hire
