Overview: This is a PRN position. POSITION SUMMARY: The MRI Technologist III cares for patients while operating equipment to produce high quality images for radiologist interpretation. In addition the MRI Technologist III is responsible for EMR/PACS navigation, general patient care, positioning patients, providing procedure information and executing proper imaging protocol/technique for all examinations. Complies with all regulatory requirements in providing safe and appropriate care. Qualifications: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: - High School Diploma/ GED - Graduate from Accredited school of Radiologic Technology or MRI accredited program. Experience: - 2 year MRI experience. Licensure/ Certification: - Radiology Registration Advanced MRI Certification - ARRT (MR) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) Certification - BLS American Heart Association Other skills/ knowledge: - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. - Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. - Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
