POSITION SUMMARY:
The MRI Technologist II 11/12 cares for patients while operating equipment to produce high quality images for radiologist interpretation. In addition, the MRI Technologist II is responsible for EMR/PACS navigation, general patient care, positioning patients, providing procedure information, and executing proper imaging protocol/technique for all examinations. Complies with all regulatory requirements in providing safe and appropriate care. Will be scheduled and required to work 11 out of every 12 weekends.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- High School Diploma/ GED
- Graduate from Accredited school of Radiologic Technology or MRI accredited program.
Experience:
- 1 year MRI experience
Licensure/ Certification:
- Radiology Registration.
- Advanced MRI Certification - ARRT (MR) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) Certification.
- BLS American Heart Association.
Other Skills/ Knowledge:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience:
- 2 years' experience in an imaging modality (CT/Diagnostic)
