Responsibilities: As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examinations to assist in diagnosing medical conditions. Every day you will prepare patients for scans, operate advanced MRI equipment, ensure patient safety in the magnetic environment, and accurately capture detailed anatomical images. To be successful, you will demonstrate expert technical proficiency in MRI, meticulous attention to detail for image quality and safety, and excellent patient communication to ensure a comfortable and effective diagnostic experience. * Screen patients for MR safety prior to procedure performance * Utilizes innovative customer service techniques to provide a positive patient care experience for the patient and their family * Acts professionally in all dealings with internal and external customers to promote a working environment that focuses on the patient experience * Perform complex tasks associated with the operation of high field strength magnets and related equipment to produce special radiographic images of specific body parts * Assist radiologist with procedure. Administer contrast media as directed and per protocol. * Position patients for MR scans using immobilization and protective equipment as required Qualifications: Required * Must have completed an accredited Radiology or MRI program * Minimum of 1 year experience in Radiology * One of the following: * ARRT(MRI) * ARRT(CT) * ARMRIT * ARRT(R) Within 9 months of hire * BLS-CPR, within 14 of hire * Medical Radiographer: TX
