Overview: MRI Technologist I *$10,000 Sign-On Bonus* St. Joseph Health - Bryan/College Station, Navasota, Caldwell, Madisonville, TX. Responsibilities: Responsibilities: * The technologist is primarily responsible for daily operations of the MRI section, patient schedule, equipment maintenance, the report of equipment failures, and quality assessment (QA), with a secondary emphasis on performing routine radiographic imaging studies * Perform complex tasks associated with the operation of high field strength magnets and related equipment to produce special radiographic images of specific body parts * Assist radiologist with procedure. Administer contrast media as directed and per protocol * Evaluate MR scans for technical quality, collate processed images and sequence of exposure and label appropriately. Qualifications: Required Education & Experience: * Minimum of one (1) year of experience in Radiology * Completed an accredited Radiology ir MRI program Required Certifications: * RTCT or RTMR or ARMRIT or RTR * BLS-CPR within 14 days * MRAD:TX
