Responsibilities:
As our Imaging Tech, you will perform a variety of advanced diagnostic and interventional procedures across diverse imaging modalities under the general direction of departmental leadership.
Every day, you will expertly operate complex imaging equipment, precisely execute imaging protocols, and meticulously monitor patients to ensure their safety and comfort throughout diagnostic and interventional procedures.
To be successful in this role, you will skillfully produce high-quality diagnostic images, collaborate effectively with the medical team, and steadfastly advocate for patient safety and optimal outcomes within the imaging environment.
This position is represented by SEIU-UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the collective bargaining agreement.
Qualifications:
* Associate of Arts must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience in a hospital and radiology department, with previous supervisory experience required.
* Bachelor of Science must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience in a hospital and radiology department, with previous supervisory experience required.
* CA Medical Radiographer (CA MRAD) required.
* Registered Technologist Radiology (ARRT) required.
* (national) CRT (state) and Fluoroscopy certification required.
* American Heart Association Basic Life Support Cert (AHA BLS) required.
* Fire Safety card (must be obtained within 90 days of start date) required.
