Responsibilities: The Mechanical Technician Certified maintains, cleans and repairs mechanical systems. This is an internal position for current NSS employees. Work Model: Onsite Qualifications: Essential Job Duties and Functions: * Inspects, adjusts, repairs, cleans, and services machinery diagnosing the defects by inspection or by disassembling the machine and examining the moving parts or other mechanisms; tightens, loosens, sets, and otherwise adjusts gears, guides, rollers, pinions and other parts; removes defective parts and repairs them or replaces with new ones. * Overhauls, installs and aligns pumps, motors, and mechanical drives, performs mechanical inspections, adjustments, and repairs to hoists, monorail cranes, derricks, and elevators, services, repairs, and troubleshoots problems in hydraulic and pneumatic systems. * May be asked to assist with or complete work in other craft areas. * All other duties as assigned.
