				Overview:

* Tier One Technologies is seeking MAS 9 (IBM Maximo Application Suite 9) Application Suite Consultant for a multi-year project with our direct US Government client. 
* This onsite part-time position will be located in Beltsville, MD.
* Must be a US Citizen.
* SELECTED CANDIDATES WITHOUT REQUIRED CLEARANCE WILL BE SUBJECT TO A FEDERAL GOVERNMENT BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION TO RECEIVE IT.

Responsibilities:

The candidate is expected to advise on the following topics:

* Best practices in MAS 9 usage.
* How to generate monthly reports and other outputs from MAS 9.
* Coordination of MAS 9 application / database maintenance activities with BARC IT.
* Collection, identification, and analysis of requirements for further improvements to MAS 9.
* Assistance with implementation of MAS 9 improvements.
* Providing recommendations in setting long-term development objectives for MAS 9.
* Support with expertise regarding MAS 9 implementations, e.g., by sharing lessons learned, dos/don'ts, best industry practices, standard roadmaps/templates etc.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant field is recommended.
* 10+ years of experience in:
* Installation, upgrade, and patching of MAS 9 System 
* WebSphere Application servers 
* IBM MAS 9 Asset Management applications development 
* Applications Designer 
* Automation Scripting 
* Conditional UI 

* Working knowledge of MAS 9 integration technologies (Object structures, services, channels, etc.). 
* Deep knowledge/understanding of MAS 9 business objects.
* Ability to formulate complex SQL queries.
* Security and authentication protocols - LDAP.
* Knowledge of EAM best practices and deep functional expertise with MAS 9 applications.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills. 
* Must be US Citizens and be able to obtain Public Trust Clearance.
* Candidate must have lived in the United States for the past 5 years.
* Cannot have more than 6 months travel outside the United States within the last 5 years. Military Service excluded.
