Responsibilities:

The role of the MPT I is to provide Contract and Program Management support to the government customer. These tasks will require the employee to have the ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in matters of significance related to the management and contract support supplied to the customer.

Qualifications:
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
* Working closely with the Program Manager at the contractor's facility.
* Develop/coordinate/submit material requisitions required for multiple programs.
* Responsible for managing Task Folders, collecting data for each task and collaborating on status reports as required.
* Provide financial data on individual tasks/projects, track and coordinate material shipments and provide the sponsors with updates as required.
* Perform as part of an integral logistics management team for Fleet assets and inventory.
* Other duties as assigned.

* Knowledge in all aspects of Programmatic Support.
* Strong understanding of NIWC processes and sense of urgency in response to both CONUC/OCONUS needs.
* We expect this work to be conducted in a timely and professional manner.
* We expect the employee to be a self-starter and to pursue self-education to remain current with industry trends, new technology, new equipment and capabilities.
* Keeping manager and supervisors apprised of their progress, maintain ability to work well with others, adhere to contract. requirements, and comply with company policies and procedures as well as the local government site policies, procedures, and SOPs.
* Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
