We have a exciting Lot Attendant opportunity available.  The Lot Attendant will assist with the handling, organization, and movement of the incoming and outgoing automotive inventory.  They will provide friendly and efficient service during all aspects of our regional deliveries for new car stock as well as deleted and maintenance vehicles. With over 100,000 units a year moving through the facility this is a critical part of our overall operation.

The position is within our Remarketing department located at 70th Street in Southwest Philadelphia.

This is a full-time position, paying $13/hour, with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm.

Responsibilities:

* Detecting damage on incoming vehicles.
* Some minor computer entry to tag vehicles as checked in.
* Organization of the parking lot(s) and inventory.
* Inventory tracking and reconciliation.
* Location of keys for units being moved.
* Assisting with the moving and reparking vehicles on/off the lot.
* Assisting with keying vehicles in the morning and de-keying in the afternoon/evening.
* Interaction and coordination with management, transport drivers and the driver employees.
* Drive and deliver vehicles locally or out of area as needed.
* High volume lot organization with safety, efficiency, and security in mind.
* Notify Management of potential safety concerns regarding equipment, lot conditions and vehicles.
* Scanning cars on/off property, lot reconciliations, cleaning cars if need, removing trash from cars etc.
* Ability to organize and account for fluctuating inventory (lot organization/in or outbound vehicles).
* Verify car information and VIN number for security and car control.
* Maintain systems for key organization and security of inventory.
* Provide all in-coming/out-going personnel with undivided attention while assisting them at the exit booth.
* Maintain the appearance of the Exit Booth and it's surrounding to present a neat and orderly image.
* Ensure the "Booth" is stocked with appropriate supplies as necessary.
* Notify Management of potential safety concerns regarding equipment, lot conditions and vehicles.
* Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned (i.e additional administrative work, light janitorial, driving, etc.

Physical Demands and Environmental Conditions:

* Limited to light physical effort is required including the handling of average-weight objects (up to 10 pounds).
* Generally requires a great deal of standing for long periods of time, walking and bending.
* Requires the ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
* Requires some flexibility in working hours.

Qualifications:

* Must be at least 18 years of age.
* Must have at least 6 months of work experience.
* Must have valid unrestricted driver's license.
* Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
* Must have satisfactory background check inclusive of driving (no more than 2 moving violations and/or at fault accidents in the past 3 years, and no drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the last 3 years) criminal, employment reference, education and social security.  A conviction will not necessarily disqualify you for employment.  Rather, such factors as age and date of conviction, seriousness and nature of the crime, and rehabilitation will be considered.  Applicants will not be asked about their criminal record and no criminal background checks will be conducted unless and until a conditional offer of employment has been extended.
* Must be willing to accept starting pay of $13.00/hour
* Must be living within a reasonable commute of no more than 30 minutes to the above listed location within 30 days of anticipated start date.
* Must be willing and able to work outside in all weather conditions. 
* Apart from religious observations; must be able to work the following shift:
* Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm
