Overview:
This remote position, reporting to the Risk Control Operations Supervisor, is responsible for serving as the liaison handling inquiries from Underwriters and risk control reports from internal and external risk control consultants and vendors. Accuracy and attention to detail are fundamental requirements of the position.
Responsibilities:
* Manages a heavy volume of electronic files and email correspondence from internal and external customers
* Processes correspondence to and from insureds and agents
* Maintains tracking system for follow-up recommendation letters
* Manages risk control reports through internal system
* Conducts first level quality control of field reports
* Answers, researches, and resolves questions and issues from internal staff, insureds, vendors and agents
* Provides support to the department
* Completes projects on a daily, weekly and monthly basis in a timely manner
* Assists vendors and internal field staff with questions on assigned work
* Assigns risk control surveys to internal staff and vendors
* Monitors vendor territory and capacity
* Monitors past due assignments
* Reviews internal workflow management reports
* Assists with accounts payables
* Conducts various Risk Control tracking system testing and training
* Reconciles daily system reports
* Conducts team training
* Prepares month end reports
* Assists with state compliance reporting
Qualifications:
Technical Expertise:
* High School diploma or GED required
* 5+ years of general clerical/office experience
* Proficient knowledge of all Microsoft applications: Word, Outlook, Excel and Teams
* Ability to learn new software programs
* Experience in the insurance industry a plus
* Must be organized, perform work with accuracy and be detail oriented
* Ability to manage assigned work and meet deadlines
* Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines
* Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change
* Able to work autonomously with little direction from supervision; continually assess workload in light of business priorities; direct own workload accordingly
* Participate in continuing cross training
* Must be a team player who enjoys a fast-paced and growing business
