We are looking for a Sales Manager that can help lead our Sales team with passion and vision to transform the automotive purchase experience. We believe there is a better way to buy and sell vehicles in the North Texas market. This Sales Manager will be a vital addition to our Management team who understands our business challenge and is looking to support our efforts and successfully educating and coach our team as we achieve record growth year over year.

Responsibilities:
* Considered a subject matter expert in all sales disciplines and is capable of recruiting, training, coaching, and mentoring others and developing team members on sales processes, policies, and procedures
* Collaborate with the General Manager to forecast goals and objectives for sales, gross, and key expenses
* Oversee the team to ensure all goals and objectives are met, including guest satisfaction and production
* Proactively supports the sales team by assisting in closing out deals and funding loans
* Manages all dealer trades and ensures proper documents are completed as well as payments are issued and received
* Handles guests' concerns that demand management's attention tactfully, promptly, and with genuine concern for the guest's problems
* Prepares special reports, memoranda, and word processing, as needed in current inventory and products using macro express, Excel, Word, PowerPoint (all Office), Tekion, and Dealer Daily
* Monitors the salespeople's response rate on leads
* Conducts daily and weekly sales training meetings as directed by the General Manager; Provides proper product and training resources for salespeople on a regular and continuous basis
* Directs and oversees the scheduling of the activities of all Sales Consultants
* Monitors the sales showroom to ensure all social distancing protocols is being adhered to, guests are properly greeted, and sales consultants are making proper use of their time.
* Ensures all new sold units are reported accurately, and in a timely manner in CRM, Dealer Daily, CDK, and manufacturer and necessary third parties
* Arranges for the delivery and distribution of vehicles to expedite flow of vehicles and meet guest demands
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Individuals should possess:
* A minimum of three (3) years automotive Sales experience; required two (2) years of management experience; proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Knowledge of dealership financial statements; automotive finance; equity values and depreciation; and laws that govern retail automotive sales
* Knowledge of automotive operations including purchasing, inventory control, and pricing and repairs; dealership financial statements; principles and processes for providing guest services
* Ability to coordinate activities with other employees and to oversee the work of subordinates; read, analyze and interpret common technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents; interview, hire and develop employees; create and perform corrective actions and performance appraisals; use good judgement in challenging situations; read and comprehend instructions and information in the English language; learn and understand the federal, state, and local laws which govern retail auto sales; work well with the public; communicate in a professional manger on the phone, internet and in person; use standard office equipment; and effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors
* Must have a valid driver's license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record
