Overview: A Sandwich Artist greets and serves guests, prepares product, maintains food safety and sanitation standards, and handles or processes light paperwork. We're looking for someone who brings energy and enthusiasm to a fast-paced, dynamic environment! The Subway Sandwich Artist Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Rate of $20.00. *This position is 100% on site at Longo Toyota in El Monte, CA. Collects payment from guests and makes change. * Performs Cash-In Procedure- accounting for all forms of money, bread, etc., during the shift. * Prepares food neatly, according to formula, and in a timely manner. * Check's products in sandwich unit area and restocks items to ensure a sufficient supply throughout the shift. * Understands and adheres to proper food handling, safety and sanitation standards during food preparation, service and clean up. * Cleans and maintains the customer and service areas and equipment to promote a clean restaurant image. Understands and adheres to the 3-step method for cleaning. * Understands and adheres to all quality standards, formulas and procedures as outlined in the SUBWAY(r) Operations Manual. * Maintains a professional appearance and grooming standards as outlined in the SUBWAY(r) Operations Manual. * Performs light paperwork duties as assigned. * Completes online coursework on the University of SUBWAY(r) as directed. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Individuals should possess: * A high school diploma or equivalent. * Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; read and comprehend instructions and information in the English language. Physical demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Individual will be required to: * Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. * Work in all weather conditions. * Perform phyiscal activities that require considerable use of arms and legs. * Stand for long periods of time. * Exerts maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects and use hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, bending, reaching and squating.
