Overview:
The Senior Logistics Analyst plays a pivotal role within our organization, leveraging extensive industry knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of Zebra's policies and procedures. This role serves as the central coordinator for all facets of transportation and logistics, ensuring seamless customer service and compliance.
This position requires onsite work in the Kenosha, WI location.
Responsibilities:
* Utilize seasoned expertise to oversee and manage transportation and logistics activities across the assigned regions
* Serve as the primary liaison between our company and transportation carriers, fostering collaborative relationships to enhance operational efficiency
* Consult on transportation law, processes, or policy, including AES, C-TPAT, NMFC road classifications, shipping documentation, security policies, and other industry best practices
* Support cross-border transactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and efficient logistics operations
* Facilitate discussions and communication between supply chain teams and transportation carriers to align objectives and enhance collaboration
* Identify opportunities for improvements and efficiencies, working to drive annual cost reductions within the logistics operations
* Ensure day-to-day operational excellence by closely monitoring carrier activities, tracking shipments, measuring KPIs, expediting processes, and addressing any issues that may arise
* Play a key role in logistics project management and implementation within the assigned regions, contributing insights, expertise, and support as needed
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance logistics processes, streamline operations, and drive continuous improvement
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and proactively address potential challenges
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelors Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or related field
* 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in logistics, transportation management, or supply chain operations
Preferred Qualifications:
* Deep understanding of logistics practices, industry regulations, and carrier management
* Demonstrated experience in project management, with a track record of successfully leading and contributing to logistics projects
* Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and propose effective solutions
* Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with cross-functional teams, clients, and carriers
* Proficiency in relevant logistics software and technology platforms
* Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
* Adaptability and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
* Strong working knowledge of transportation, import and export administration regulations including AES, C-TPAT, IATA, IMDG, NMFC, Incoterms, etc
* Intermmediate Excel skills
Licenses/Certifications, special qualifications:
* Dangerous Goods Handling certification a plus
* Professional certification in logistics or supply chain management a plus
