Overview:
Logistic Executive for Industry Leader in Heavy Lifting & Transportation
Location: Pasir Gudang, Malaysia
As a Logistics Executive at Mammoet, you will assist and support the Logistics Manager in overseeing regional and international shipments and managing logistics activities related to the company's operations. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth execution of shipping processes, coordinating with vendors and internal teams, and maintaining Mammoet's high standards for safety, quality, and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
* Responsible for the day to day shipping activity with vendors and other Mammoet shipping personnel located in offices worldwide covering all transport modes (shipping, airfreight, road transport)
* Perform administrative and documentation functions continuously improve on the existing shipping process and work closely with the immediate superior to ensure long-term success of the Company.
* Preparation of import/export documentation for regional and / or international shipments
* Coordination with vendors and customers on shipment progress and delivery.
* From time to time required to be onsite/port to oversee offloading and loading of equipment.
* Any other task assigned by superior
SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment and Quality)
* Comply with and implement Mammoet's safety regulations and standards.
* Participate in safety briefings, toolbox talks, and client-organized SHEQ meetings.
* Use personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly and responsibly.
* Immediately report any safety risks, incidents, or equipment defects to your superior.
* Ensure strict adherence to quality and safety guidelines when handling equipment and shipments.
Qualifications:
* Education: Diploma or Degree in relevant field
* Experience: Minimum 3 years in a similar role
* Skills:
* Ability to prioritize and work meticulously
* Stress-resistant in case of higher workloads but also tolerant towards low workload periods.
* Team Player
* Strong communication skills and excellent English communication skills
* Eagerness to learn and develop within the organization
