Overview:
POSITION SUMMARY: The Litigation Paralegal supports the in-house legal needs of OSF and operating units. This position assists in the handling of legal issues such as conducting advanced legal research, assisting in preparing documents, corporate documentation, assisting in compliance audits, and assisting in preparing legal memoranda and pleadings.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School diploma or GED
Experience: 5 years experience as Paralegal or similar position that has worked in litigation
Other skills/knowledge:
* Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to work on multiple tasks at the same time
* Advanced analytical skills necessary to think through processes critically and develop reports
* Demonstrated verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills to work well with various levels within the organization
* Proven ability to maintain confidentiality Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office software
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Associate's degree in a Paralegal Program
