Provide Compassionate Care as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)!

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care by using the nursing process-assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Your expertise and dedication will directly contribute to the health and well-being of those you care for, making a positive difference every day.

Responsibilities:

* Assessment and Care Planning
Assist in the assessment of the physical, psychological, and social dimensions of patients and collaborate with RNs and other staff in planning individualized treatment programs.

* Treatment Program Implementation and Diagnostic Testing
Implement individualized treatment plans and obtain diagnostic tests (e.g., body fluid specimens, EKGs) according to healthcare practitioner orders, ensuring proper procedures and communication with other departments.

* Medication Administration and Safety
Administer medications according to healthcare practitioner orders, ensuring correct techniques and considering drug reactions and overdose risks, including IV therapy when certified.

* Clinical and Technical Care Implementation
Follow established policies and procedures to implement clinical and technical aspects of care, including safety techniques, and document encounters using the SOAP charting method.

* Emergency Response and Support
Respond promptly to codes or health emergencies and assist healthcare practitioners in medical or minor surgical procedures as needed.

Qualifications:

Education:

* Required: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.

Experience:

* Required: Minimum One (1) year of acute medical experience.

Licenses:

* Required: Must have a current, unrestricted license to practice as a Practical/Vocational nurse in the state of employment or possess a multi-state compact license recognized by the State of employment to practice professional nursing.
