Overview: Shift: Monday-Friday days, with flexibility in start and end times based on patient scheduling needs Make a meaningful impact where it matters most - supporting students' mental health and well-being. We're looking for a compassionate, skilled clinician to join our behavioral health team in a school-based setting. We're seeking a Licensed Mental Health Professional to support student mental health in the Fort Dodge School District. In this school-based role, you'll conduct psychosocial assessments, provide individual and group therapy using evidence-based practices, develop treatment plans, and respond to safety concerns. You'll also collaborate with families, school staff, and community partners to help students thrive. Responsibilities: * Processes referrals in a prompt, thorough manner. * Interviews patients, families, and community agencies representatives to obtain a comprehensive mental health evaluation and makes appropriate treatment recommendations * Responsible for providing individual, couple, family and group services to meet patient and their family/significant others' social and emotional needs. * Provides immediate intervention including supportive counseling to patient/family/significant other in dealing with impact of an emergency situation. * Facilitate support groups for behavioral health as needed. * Maintains effective communication/working relationships with co-workers, management, physicians and other professionals by communicating in an efficient, professional and courteous manner. Qualifications: Education: * Minimum of a Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited school Licensure: * Licensed as an LMSW, LISW, LMFT, or PsyD in the State of Iowa Experience: * A minimum of two years previous counseling experience in Behavioral Health.
