Qualifications:

Job Summary
The Leaves Supervisor oversees a team of Leave Specialists responsible for the end-to-end leave of
absence process, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and internal policies, and enhancing the
employee experience. This role serves as the primary liaison between the organization, the company's
leave of absence vendor, campus leaders, and employees.

Roles and Responsibilities

*  Supervises and supports a team of Leave Specialists, providing guidance, training, and
performance management.

*  Oversees the relationship with the Leave of Absence vendor, ensuring service quality and issue
resolution.

*  Serves as the central point of contact for all leave-related matters, coordinating with the Leaves
Administrator, HR, and business leaders.

*  Manages the full lifecycle of employee leave requests-from intake through return-to-work-
including documentation, communication, and system updates.

*  Partners with appropriate stakeholder groups in administering short- and long-term disability
claims, paid parental leaves, and workers' compensation for work-related injuries, ensuring timely
coordination, compliance, and employee support throughout each process.

*  Interprets and analyzes leave data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

*  Ensures the maintenance of accurate records, conduct audits, and generate reports to support
compliance and operational efficiency.

*  Evaluates and streamlines leave processes to improve efficiency and the employee experience.

*  Acts as a subject matter expert on accommodations and return-to-work processes, collaborating
with HR and legal as needed.

*  Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local leave regulations, including FMLA, ADA, and
company-specific policies.

*  Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor Degree
Experience: 5-8 years

Licenses and Certifications
CLMS, Certified Compliance Professional (CCP), PHR, SPHR, or SHRM preferred

Physical Requirements
Sitting, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, stooping, walking, and moving intermittently during
working hours. Must be able to lift at least 50lbs. Must be able to maintain verbal and written
communication with co-workers, supervisors, residents, family members, visitors, vendors, and all
business associates outside of the health campus.
