Job Summary:
Facilitate, track, and support training for both new and experienced employees in hospitality skills, operating systems, safety, and guest service excellence. This role leverages enthusiasm and expertise to foster a positive work environment while ensuring all team members deliver Legendary Hospitality to our guests.
The Details:
Position Type: Seasonal
Season Dates: Early April to September
Pay: $16.25/hour
Schedule: up to 30 hours per week, including weekends in order to support operational needs

Responsibilities:
* Deliver and support seasonal and ongoing employee training to ensure quality service, operational efficiency, and compliance including but not limited to:
* Employee Orientation
* Cash Handling
* Legendary Hospitality (i.e.10/5 rule)
* Shrink/Loss Prevention
* ServSafe
* Track and update learning activities in the LMS.
* Model and promote excellent guest service, professionalism, and teamwork under pressure.
* Coordinate with managers to ensure employees complete online training modules.
* Assist in transporting employees to training area, preparing training materials, organizing training spaces, and maintaining cleanliness standards.
* Support other departments as needed and ensure adherence to safety and environmental programs.
* Follow Company and departmental environmental and safety practices, policies, and procedures.
* Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
* Demonstrate strong facilitation skills and the ability to adapt training delivery to meet diverse audience needs, learning preferences, and technologies.
* Valid driver's license and safe driving record required.
* Excellent written and verbal communication with strong organizational skills.
* Effective interpersonal and public speaking skills.
* Ability to teach and demonstrate tasks in a clear, professional manner for both small and large groups.
* Being capable of self-supervision and following instructions independently.
* Knowledge of Xanterra specific computer programs (Opera, Absorb LMS, Mi9).
* Knowledge of basic computer programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
* Knowledge of chemical safety and products.
* Willing to "pitch-in" and help the team with tasks.
* Must be a positive team player with flexible schedules who like to have fun and have the passion to work.
Physical Requirements include:
Frequently standing, walking and handling.
Occasionally sitting, reaching outward, reaching over shoulder, climbing, crawling, squatting/kneeling, bending, lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds, and pushing/pulling up to 40 pounds.
