				Overview:

The Lead Test Engineer - Playwright & TypeScript is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks that ensure the delivery of high-quality software. This role leads test strategy and execution across teams, contributes to the build and delivery pipeline, and serves as a trusted technical advisor on quality engineering standards and best practices.

Your Role Responsibilities - Here's What You'll Do
* Develop and maintain complex integration, functional, and non-functional tests and automated test frameworks across teams to ensure holistic software quality.
* Lead and maintain the implementation of the delivery pipeline, including test automation, build environments, test environments, and security.
* Lead the verification of system functionality by executing complex automated and manual tests, analyzing results, and providing actionable recommendations.
* Operate as a trusted advisor on testing trends and issues; identify and implement improved test tools and automation methodologies aligned with best practices.
* Analyze and report test results, monitor quality trends over time, and provide guidance to teams to drive continuous improvement.
* Mentor, coach, and train team members while influencing testing standards, processes, and test design across the organization.
Role Essentials - What You Bring
* Significant hands-on experience with test automation frameworks, including Playwright and TypeScript, along with continuous integration and delivery tools.
* Proven experience across all phases of the test lifecycle, including test design, execution, defect management, and reporting.
* Significant experience with build environments, delivery pipelines, and CI/CD practices on Windows and Linux platforms.
* Strong programming and scripting skills with experience across multiple scripting languages and source control systems.
* Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to mentor and guide engineering team members.
What We'd Like to See - Preferred Skills
* BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
* Experience working within Agile frameworks, including sprint planning, work estimation, and peer reviews.
* Experience with database technologies and performance or non-functional testing methodologies.
* Demonstrated experience with regression testing and conducting complex peer code reviews for test automation code.
* Proven ability to influence quality standards, coach cross-functional teams, and drive continuous improvement at an organizational level.
