Responsibilities:
- Adheres to all departmental and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards. - Acts as a Manager on Duty during business hours and exercises good judgment in service recovery. - Greets guests and offers assistance and/or instruction in the use of Spa; ensures all guests are being assisted in relaxation areas. - Processes register transactions for Spa services and retail purchased; utilizes POS system and ARTS to ensure that all transactions are completed correctly. - Trains Spa Front Desk staff and new Spa Attendants. - Maintains Spa facilities in clean and attractive condition. - Maintains par stock levels for Spa supplies; places orders as needed. - Schedules Spa and salon appointments. - Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned. - Maintains strict confidentiality in all company matters.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. - Minimum one (1) year of experience in the hospitality or other service industry required. - Must possess excellent customer service skills. - Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be fluent and literate in English. - Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism. - Knowledge of fitness, exercise equipment, and spa facilities preferred. - Must have strong computer skills, including the ability to operate a POS system. - Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues. - Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization. - Highly organized and detail oriented. - Ability to effectively and efficiently move around work area; ability to maneuver in order to assist guests in the proper use of equipment. - Must be able to work a flexible and varying schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and fluctuating days off as needed.
