 LEAD Shipping/Reciving/Inventory -GRISWOLD PRODUCTS, MOOSUP, CT

Earn $30.65 per hour starting

Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 7:00am-3:30pm (occasional overtime as needed)

Griswold Products, LLC is seeking an experienced Shipping / Receiving / Inventory Lead to manage daily warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, inventory control, shipping coordination, and receiving. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on accuracy, efficiency, and meeting customer delivery requirements.

The position offers a consistent daytime schedule with occasional overtime to support shipping deadlines, inventory counts, or operational needs.

Responsibilities:

* Shipping & Order Fulfillment

* Pick, prioritize, and process multiple sales orders daily
* Build pallets, scan items using RF devices, wrap, and stage shipments
* Load trucks and coordinate outbound shipments with carriers
* Prepare Bills of Lading (BOLs) and customer-specific labels
* Monitor email for shipping instructions and carrier documentation (BOLs, ASN, etc.)

Carrier Scheduling & Coordination

* Schedule and communicate with LTL carriers, UPS, and brokers
* Manage UPS Ground pickups through online portals
* Coordinate with Sales and Production to meet order and Kanban delivery commitments

Inventory Management

* Stage inventory from production lines following FIFO practices
* Perform cycle counts and assist with quarterly physical inventories
* Monitor inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies

Receiving

* Receive and inspect inbound shipments
* Verify deliveries against documentation and report variances
* Stage materials in proper warehouse locations

Documentation & Reporting

* Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records (electronic and paper)
* Submit end-of-day reports and documentation

Equipment & Safety

* Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners
* Handle heavy materials, including rolls weighing 200+ lbs
* Follow all safety and company protocols

Qualifications:

Qualifications

Required

* High school diploma or equivalent
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
* Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly
* Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred

* Experience in shipping, receiving, and inventory control
* Experience with RF scanning and warehouse management systems
