Overview: Lead Security Vulnerability Remediation Specialist Location: Kolkata / Hyderabad, India Work Arrangement: Hybrid - 3 days per week in office About the Role As a Lead Security Vulnerability Remediation Specialist, you will demonstrate mastery in assessing, remediating, automating, and sustaining security vulnerability fixes across Hyland's enterprise infrastructure. You will lead complex remediation initiatives across servers, networks, identity platforms, cloud infrastructure, and endpoint systems - partnering closely with Cyber Security for vulnerability intelligence while driving innovative solutions and mentoring cross-functional teams in remediation best practices. Your Role Responsibilities - Here's What You'll Do * Lead the assessment and validation of complex vulnerability findings from Cyber Security and threat intelligence sources; proactively identify risks, determine remediation strategies, and drive resolution for high-priority vulnerabilities * Execute and oversee complex remediation activities - including patching, configuration changes, upgrades, and mitigation controls - across enterprise infrastructure, resolving conflicts and dependencies independently * Design, develop, and implement innovative automation solutions and scripting frameworks to streamline remediation workflows and reduce manual intervention across Infrastructure-managed systems * Drive collaboration with Infrastructure, Engineering, and leadership teams to address recurring vulnerability patterns, implement preventive protocols, and influence infrastructure architecture decisions * Oversee vulnerability remediation queues, SLAs, and metrics; make well-considered decisions on prioritization and resource allocation that impact team and departmental outcomes * Provide advanced mentoring, coaching, and training to team members and cross-functional teams; serve as a trusted advisor on security trends, best practices, and market developments Role Essentials - What You'll Need * Demonstrated expertise in security vulnerability assessment, remediation, and prioritization across enterprise infrastructure * Proven experience executing complex remediation activities including patching, configuration changes, and mitigation controls * Proficiency in automation and scripting to streamline vulnerability remediation workflows and reduce manual effort * Strong collaboration and leadership skills with the ability to influence infrastructure architecture decisions across teams * Experience managing SLAs, remediation queues, and reporting metrics for enterprise vulnerability management programs What We'd Like to See - Preferred Skills * Experience partnering with Cyber Security teams for vulnerability intelligence and threat analysis * Demonstrated ability to mentor and coach cross-functional technical teams and provide feedback to leadership * Experience designing and refining remediation playbooks, processes, and standards aligned to team strategy * Knowledge of identity platforms, cloud infrastructure, and endpoint security systems * Ability to serve as an innovative thought leader, contributing to department growth through knowledge sharing and best practice guidance About Hyland Hyland is the pioneer of the Content Innovation Cloud(tm), delivering ubiquitous enterprise intelligence to organizations with solutions that unlock actionable insights and drive automation.
