Overview: Now hiring a Lead Patient Care Assistant! Presbyterian healthcare is hiring a Lead Patient Care Assistant to supervise patient care assistants on shift and resolves any issues that arise in the moment. Ensure efficiency of the department on shift. Ensure shifts are adequately staffed. Document call-ins and tardiness in My Time: API. Report issues to the Transport Supervisor as necessary. Assist the Transport Supervisor with scheduling and onboarding as needed. Assist the Transport Supervisor in the management and maintenance of departmental equipment. Transport patients between clinical and non-clinical departments and nursing units. Transport patients needing admission, surgical and procedural services, inter-unit department transfers, or discharge from facility. Provide observation and companionship to appropriate hospitalized patient. Assist and provide basic ADLs as appropriate and directed. Provide general support for the operation of a nursing department including assuring availability of supplies and equipment as pertaining to transport. How you belong matters here.
