EchoStar requires a Lead Financial Analyst to navigate complex valuation, M&A activities, and business case development across a growing portfolio. This role solves capital allocation and strategic growth challenges by constructing robust financial models and conducting deep-dive market analyses. Successful performance ensures senior leadership has clear, data-driven insights to make high-stakes operational and transactional decisions.

What Success Looks Like (Objectives)

* Lead end-to-end M&A workstreams, financial due diligence, and valuation modeling to support strategic transactions and capital allocation decisions
* Construct and maintain complex forward-looking financial, subscriber profitability, and NPV models that directly inform corporate strategy and performance
* Perform comprehensive market research and competitive intelligence to identify growth opportunities and structural risks within the industry landscape
* Synthesize complex data and due diligence findings into highly polished presentation materials for senior leadership
* Partner with cross-functional operational groups to analyze performance metrics and forecast revenue and cost drivers
* Apply generative AI and predictive analytics tools to accelerate financial modeling, data extraction, and strategic analysis workflows

Qualifications:

Core Skills and Competencies (What you'll bring)

* Advanced expertise in financial modeling, corporate valuation methodologies (DCF, comps, precedents), and M&A deal structures
* Critical experience executing complex corporate transactions, strategic partnerships, and deep financial due diligence
* Deep analytical capability in evaluating subscription business metrics, capital expenditure proposals, and competitive market intelligence
* AI literacy and application skills, specifically utilizing AI copilots and automated tools to optimize financial analysis workflows
* Strong collaborative abilities to partner across cross-functional teams and synthesize complex financial findings into concise executive presentations
* Strong problem-solving skills to independently gather unstructured data, establish concrete facts, and deliver objective recommendations

Additional Qualifications

* MBA, MS-Finance, or related Master's degree
* Telecom industry experience

Minimum Requirements

* Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or Mathematics
* Minimum Experience: 5 years of experience in financial analysis, investment banking, or M&A
* Required Technical Skills: Must have at least 5 years of experience with:
* Financial modeling (DCF, comparable company analysis, NPV)
* Valuation methodologies and M&A deal structures
* Subscription business financial metrics (ARPU, churn, subscriber lifetime value)
