What You Can Expect:
* Serve as a clinical subject matter expert and mentor to medical assistant staff, supporting onboarding, training, and ongoing development
* Assist with staff scheduling, daily workflow coordination, and help manage patient escalations with professionalism and empathy
* Act as a trusted resource for patients, providers, and team members, promoting high standards of care and patient experience
* Maintain knowledge of clinical supply processes, support inventory management, and ensure adherence to accreditation standards
* Demonstrate leadership through effective communication, de-escalation skills, and by fostering a collaborative, solution-focused environment
* Work clinic hours with scheduling options of five 8-hour shifts (5/8s) or four 10-hour shifts (4/10s); flexibility required to meet changing clinic needs
Qualifications:
Education
* High School Diploma or equivalent
Certifications
* Current BLS-CPR Certification from the American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association or American Red Cross
* Current recognized National Certification as a Medical Assistant
* NCCT, NAHP, AMT, AAMA, AMCA, NHA
Experience

Responsibilities:
The Medical Assistant 4 is responsible for assisting licensed providers with patient care. This subject matter expert is also responsible to serve as a role model and resource to coworkers. Anticipates patterns and links; looks beyond the immediate problem to the wider implications. Generates new and innovative solutions to complex problems.
* Interviews patients, measures vital signs, and records information on patients' charts.
* Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients. Sterilizes, cleans, and performs checks on medical equipment.
* Prepares patients for examination.
* Provides technical, clinical, and clerical support to licensed independent provider.
* Performs medical procedures within scope of roles and responsibilities.
* Processes prescription medication for refill under the supervision of a licensed independent provide.
* Assists licensed independent provider in patient exams and office procedures.
* Prepares basic laboratory tests on premises and prepares laboratory specimens.
* Enters diagnostic or medication orders under the direction of a licensed independent provider.
* Resolves problems using advanced knowledge of procedures and policies.
* Performs difficult and complex work. Provides functional and technical direction to other staff members.
* May assist in the completion of the employee evaluation process, counsel of employees and/or may recommend discipline and other personnel decisions.
* May assist in the hiring process.
* Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
* Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
* Experience: 2 years' experience
* Licenses/Certifications: Current recognized national certification as a Medical Assistant and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.
