Responsibilities:

* Responsible for the direction and supervision of the pulling, transporting, and counting of cash boxes from slot machines, Poker, Table Games, and all Food & Beverage outlets on property in a timely, efficient, and cost-effective manner. 
* Responsible for performing the functions above in accordance with internal Controls and State Gaming Regulations. 
* Ensures key control procedures are followed. 
* Ensures proper maintenance of Count Room equipment. 
* Works professionally with other departments as needed to complete tasks. 
* Ensures that team members are well trained and safety conscious in the duties they perform. 
* Responsible for the day to day supervision of team members. 
* Responsible for ensuring that management is aware of unusual or unsafe occurrences during the performance of the function which could result in the loss of company assets. 
* Counts and verifies total funds to ensure the integrity of the count. 
* Writes and distributes shift reports at the completion of each count, detailing any issues that will need attention to ensure future counts run efficiently. 
* Transfers receipts to the Main Bank and corresponding documentation to the Accounting department on a daily basis.
* Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned. 
* Maintains strict confidentiality in all company matters.

Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree and/or training strongly preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
* Experience with casino operations preferred, but bank vault operation experience acceptable. 
* Minimum one (1) year of currency count experience required; supervisory experience preferred. - Familiarity with gaming regulations regarding Count Room operations preferred. 
* Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be fluent and literate in English. - Ability to work in restricted quarters. 
* Basic math skills required, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. 
* Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access). 
* Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism. 
* Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization. 
* Ability to work with interruptions. 
* Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues. 
* Highly organized and detail oriented. 
* Ability to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
