As the Laundry Attendant, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day administrative functions that keep the park running smoothly. Job Summary: Laundry Attendants are responsible for providing the washing, drying, and folding of linens, towels, and bedding for the enitrety of Yellowstone National Park. This position is physical and similar to a warehouse environment. The Details: Position Type: Seasonal Season Dates: ASAP - November 2025 Pay: $18.75/hr Schedule: Part Time work. Typical schedule is 20 hours a week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays). Why Yellowstone National Park? Responsibilities: * Feeds linen into automated ironers and folding equipment. * Accurately stacks, counts, and loads clean linens into laundry bins. * Sorts soiled linens by item at the sorter machine, loads soiled items on to conveyor for sorting, removes full bins of soiled items from the sorter machine and delivers to tunnel. * Keeps sorter area neat and organized; keeps linens, plastic bags, and trash off the floor. Delivers empty laundry bins to bin washing area. * Folds clean terry items and bedding, counting items accurately to specified numbers. * Unloads soiled linen from trucks, recording types, amounts, and weights of items received. Delivers bins of soiled linen to appropriate processing locations in the laundry. Completes laundry receiving forms accurately and legibly. * Loads clean, quality linens into bins for shipment to locations ensuring accurate item counts. Load uniform and laundry services items for shipment to locations. Completes laundry shipping forms accurately and legibly. * Operates all equipment on the small and large wash deck according to laundry procedures. * Monitors all equipment for correct operation. Records any equipment issues on the logs and promptly reports to the maintenance department. * Other duties as assigned on-site Qualifications: * Prior warehouse experience preferred, but not required. Physical Requirements include: * Frequent standing, walking, reaching outward and above the shoulder for up to 6 hours per shift. * Repetitive motion of arms, wrist, and hands for up to 7 hours per shift. * Occasional climbing, crawling, and squatting/kneeling up to 3 hours per shift. * Must be able to wear hearing protection up to 7 hours per shift. * Must be able to work in an environment of 89 to 100 up to 7 hours per shift.
