Overview: The laundry attendant - box truck driver will make sure that linens are processed in a timely fashion, in accordance with Omni Hotel standards, and delivered to the Resort. Must be comfortable operating all laundry equipment (ex. commercial dryer, commercial washer, linen folder, etc.) and driving, loading and unloading a box truck. Responsibilities: * Load and unload commerical washing machine * Load and unload commerical dryers * Feed sheets and table linen through ironer * Folding towels * Sorting dirty linen * Packing clean linens into bins * Transporting dirty linen from the Resort to the the laundry facility * Transporting clean linen from the laundry facility to the Resort * Any other tasks as required by management Qualifications: * Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 75lbs, and stand for 7-8 hours per shift * Must be able to bend, crouch, crawl, stoop, and kneel on a regular basis throughout shift * Must be willing and able to work a flexible scheduling, including morning and evenings, weekends and holidays * Previous laundry experience in a professional setting (preferred) * Should be comfortable working in an enviroment that is hot due to the machines and processing the linens. * Must posses a valid driver's license * Must be able to operate a small box truck * Must be able to pass a premployment drug screen Omni Hotels & Resorts is an equal opportunity employer.
