Locations: Beijing | Tianjin | Suzhou | Shanghai | Chengdu | Guangzhou Job Overview: The instructor is responsible for teaching assigned classes in accordance with our instruction principles; for maintaining student class records and fulfilling administrative duties as required or requested by the Center Manager; and for participating in professional development activities. In liaison with the Center Manager, the instructor is further responsible for counseling students, providing effective feedback and advice; recommending appropriate products and services to meet customers' needs; and for designing and /or delivering programs in accordance with their enhanced product knowledge. Responsibilities: *Delivery of English Language instruction using our proprietary teaching method *Teaching groups of 1 to 4 students *Some travel is required to teach onsite at the customer's facility *Five working days per week; two fixed days off per week (may include ONE weekend day) *Working hours between 08:30 - 21:30 (M-F) and 08:30 - 17:30 on weekends *8-10 working units per day (1 unit equals 40-minutes teaching and a 5-minute break) *Most students are adults and business professionals, but the job MAY INCLUDE approx. 10% of work schedule teaching to children Minimum Requirements: * Native English speaker from the USA, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, or Ireland. *A four-year bachelor's degree or higher *Two years' work experience after graduation (does not have to be teaching related, though it's preferred) *Certification in language teaching (TESOL, TEFL, CELTA or equivalent) *Clean criminal record Preferred characteristics: *Teaching experience *Dynamic, mature and professional *Culturally sensitive *Excellent organizational and communication skills *Looking to work for a minimum of ONE YEAR *Business experience, knowledge or qualifications desirable Remuneration Package: *Minimum guaranteed salary of CNY 8,000 -10,000 RMB (commensurate with experience and qualifications) *After 120 units taught in a month, the instructors receive 10 extra CNY per unit.
