The Lactation Consultant guidance to patients, families, staff, and community in delivering education, information and training that responds to individualized needs in accordance with the current policies and procedures.

Location Details
* Location: 1000 Medical Center Dr. Hardeeville, South Carolina 29927
* Schedule: Part Time
* Shift: 9am-5pm, 3 days per week (No set days of the week/ Weekends and holidays are included)
Responsibilities:
* Provide lactation consultation, breastfeeding support, and education to mothers and families.
* Develop individualized education plans and assist with breastfeeding and infant feeding challenges.
* Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to improve maternal and neonatal outcomes.
* Lead prenatal classes, lactation support groups, and patient education services.
Qualifications:
* Education:
* High School Diploma, required. 4 Year/ Bachelor's Degree, preferred.
* Experience:
* Minimum of one year of experience in mother/baby care or breast feeding education, required.
* Licensure/Certification/Registration:
* Current IBCLC certification, required.
* Current RN licensure in appropriate state, preferred.
* Additional Skills:
* Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing.
* Excellent customer service skills.
