Overview:
Provides guidance to patients, families, staff, and community in delivering education, information and training that responds to individualized needs in accordance with the current policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
* Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, preferred.
* Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in mother/baby care or breast feeding education, required.
* Licensure/Certification:
* Current IBCLC certification, required.
* Current RN licensure in appropriate state, preferred.
* Additional Skills Required: Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Excellent customer service skills.
