The Ambulatory Clinic Ahead Program (ACAP) is an exciting opportunity for LPNs and CMAs to start in our hiring pool, receive standardized training to St. Luke's, and have the opportunity to rotate through clinics to find a permanent position in a Magic Valley clinic that is an ideal fit. Your Magic Valley work location will vary based on current open positions and preference, including location, specialty, and shift.

Qualifications
For Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Candidates:
* Graduation from a Licensed Practical Nursing Program
* Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in the State of Practice
* Current BLS-CPR Certification from the American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross
For Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Candidates:
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Graduation from a Medical Assistant Program
* Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification from one of the following:
o American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
o American Medical Technologists (AMT)
o National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
o National Health career Association (NHA)
* Current BLS-CPR Certification from the American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross
of Practice
Responsibilities:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), under the direction of a registered nurse or team leader, provides general nursing care to patients.
* Provide and document direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles.
* Perform medical procedures within scope.
* Assists physicians and performs healthcare services to patients in hospitals, private homes, clinics, and other healthcare facilities.
* Identifies and reports patient care needs through data collection, planning, intervention and evaluation.
* Identifies patient need for education and provides approved hospital education materials.
* Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
* Education: Graduation from a Licensed Practical Nursing program
* Experience: 0 years's experience
* Licenses/Certifications: Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in the State of Practice AND Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.
