Schedule
* Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
What You'll Do
* Assist with exams, procedures, and clinical tasks to support patient care.
* Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and team members to create an exceptional patient experience.
* Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with clinical standards.
* Help foster a positive, efficient, and welcoming clinic environment.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
* CMA: Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program; minimum 1 year of experience preferred.
* LPN: Completion of an accredited LPN program and current LPN licensure; experience in a clinic setting preferred.
Certifications
* CMA: National Medical Assistant Certification (NCCT, NAHP, AMT, AAMA, AMCA, or NHA)
* LPN: Current LPN licensure in Idaho
* Both: Current BLS-CPR Certification (American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Safety & Health Institute)
Responsibilities:
The Medical Assistant 2 is responsible for assisting licensed providers with patient care. Has working knowledge and skills developed through formal training. Works within established policies and procedures.
* Interviews patients, measures vital signs, and records information on patients' charts.
* Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients. Sterilizes, cleans, and performs checks on medical equipment.
* Prepares patients for examination.
* Provides technical, clinical, and clerical support to licensed independent provider.
* Performs medical procedures within scope of roles and responsibilities.
* Processes prescription medication for refill under the supervision of a licensed independent provider.
* Assists licensed independent provider in patient exams and office procedures.
* Prepares basic laboratory tests on premises and prepares laboratory specimens.
* Enters diagnostic or medication orders under the direction of a licensed independent provider.
* Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
* Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
* Experience: 0 years' experience
* Licenses/Certifications: Current recognized National Certification as a Medical Assistant and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.
