The Ambulatory Clinic Ahead Program (ACAP) is an exciting opportunity for LPNs to start in our hiring pool, receive standardized training to St. Luke's and the opportunity to rotate through clinics to find a permanent position in a Treasure Valley clinic that is an ideal fit. Your Treasure Valley work location will vary based on current open positions and preference, including location, specialty, and shift.

Qualifications

Education

* Graduation from a Licensed Practical Nursing Program

Certifications

* Current BLS-CPR Certification from the American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association or American Red Cross
* Current Licensed Practical Nuse (LPN) licensure in the State of Practice

Responsibilities:

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), under the direction of a registered nurse or team leader, provides general nursing care to patients.

* Provide and document direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles.
* Perform medical procedures within scope.
* Assists physicians and performs healthcare services to patients in hospitals, private homes, clinics, and other healthcare facilities.
* Identifies and reports patient care needs through data collection, planning, intervention and evaluation.
* Identifies patient need for education and provides approved hospital education materials.
* Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

* Education: Graduation from a Licensed Practical Nursing program
* Experience: 0 years's experience
* Licenses/Certifications: Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in the State of Practice and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
