What to Expect * Meaningful, hands-on care-You'll provide direct nursing support under the guidance of a registered nurse or physician, ensuring each patient receives high-quality, compassionate care aligned with hospice standards. * Purpose-driven work-Deliver comfort-focused care that helps manage symptoms and enhance quality of life for patients, while offering emotional support to their families during deeply personal moments. * Team-based collaboration-Work side by side with an interdisciplinary team dedicated to creating holistic, personalized care plans that honor each patient's journey. * A role beyond the bedside-Travel to patient homes throughout McCall and surrounding communities, building meaningful relationships while educating patients and caregivers to help them feel confident and supported. Preferred Experience * One (1) year of LPN experience in a long-term care or hospice setting. Qualifications * Education: Graduation from an accredited LPN program. * Licenses/Certifications: Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Idaho. Responsibilities: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), under the direction of a registered nurse or team leader, provides general nursing care to patients. * Provide and document direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles. * Perform medical procedures within scope. * Assists physicians and performs healthcare services to patients in hospitals, private homes, clinics, and other healthcare facilities. * Identifies and reports patient care needs through data collection, planning, intervention and evaluation. * Identifies patient need for education and provides approved hospital education materials. * Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications: * Education: Graduation from a Licensed Practical Nursing program * Experience: 0 years's experience * Licenses/Certifications: Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in the State of Practice AND Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.
