Overview: Licensed Practical Nurse Community Memorial Hospital Shift Options Available: * 24hr-on, 48 or 72hr-off options available; Rotating weekends and holidays * 36 hours per week - Night Shift - 7p - 7a; Every 3rd weekend rotation and holiday rotation * 4 shifts/week - 10:45pm-7:15am (8 hour shifts - .8 FTE); Every 3rd weekend rotation and Holiday rotation * 4 shifts/week 9:45pm-7:15am (9 hour shifts - .9 FTE); Every 3rd weekend rotation and Holiday rotation Department: Inpatient, Outpatient, ED and Infusion $5k Sign-On Bonus!! Are you a versatile and compassionate nurse seeking a dynamic role? Join our team as an LPN - Departmental Float at Community Memorial Hospital! In this pivotal role, you'll provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care across multiple departments, including Inpatient, Outpatient, Emergency, and Infusion services. You'll be a vital part of our team, ensuring patient safety and delivering exceptional care while adapting to the diverse needs of each unit. This position offers the opportunity to build a broad skill set and gain experience in various areas of patient care. Responsibilities: * Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care across various departments including Inpatient, Outpatient, Emergency Department (ED), and Infusion services, ensuring patient safety and satisfaction. * Conduct regular assessments, monitor vital signs, and document patient conditions accurately. Respond promptly to changes in patient status and implement appropriate interventions as needed. * Safely administer medications, IV infusions, and other prescribed treatments in accordance with hospital protocols and physician orders, ensuring compliance with all safety standards. * Work closely with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and create individualized care plans that align with the patient's needs and medical goals. Qualifications: * Graduate of an accredited school per applicable licensure * Current license in the State of Iowa or meets criteria established by the applicable Board of licensure * Ability to read, write and speak English * BLS, PALS, ACLS, & TNCC - (preferred) and required per licensure after hire if not already certified
