Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Responsibilities:

* Provide and maintain a proactive surveillance operation that protects the assets of the Boomtown Casino by observing all customer/employee gaming and non-gaming activity with electronic surveillance monitoring equipment. 
*  Ensure compliance with applicable laws, procedures, regulations and rules.  
* Responsible for coordinating activities between separate shifts in the absence of a Surveillance Supervisor.  
* Responsible for monitoring duties and responsibilities of Surveillance Operators II. 
* Monitors equipment and supplies.   

Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or equivalent required.
* Background in video or electronics strongly preferred; prior casino and support service experience a plus.
* Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be fluent and literate in English.
* Thorough knowledge of casino games and operations preferred.
* Thorough knowledge of casino cheating, scams, card counting, and player evaluations preferred.
* Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
* Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
* Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues.
* Highly organized and detail oriented.
* Vision correctable to 20/20 with normal color acuity.
