Responsibilities:

The Controls Lead shall be responsible for the controls and hands-on repairing equipment, along with the HVAC Technician, and shall provide demonstrated experience for the controls and field work.

Salary Range: $93,625.00 to $103,625.00

This position is contingent upon contract award. 

Work Model: Onsite/In-Office

Qualifications:
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
* Operates, monitors, maintains, and repairs, EMCS components that support the facility and infrastructure.
* Repairs, troubleshoots, and calibrates VFDs, refrigerant monitors, and hydrogen sensors.
* Plans and lays out work from blueprints, drawings, models, and verbal and written instructions.
* Disassembles malfunctioning instruments, examines and tests the mechanism and circuitry for defects; troubleshoots equipment in or out of control system and replaces or repairs defective parts, reassembles instrument and tests assembly for conformance with specifications
* Adjusts and repairs final control mechanisms, such as automatically controlled valves or positioners, and may calibrate instruments according to established standards
* Uses a variety of hand tools, portable power tools, and standard measuring instruments.
* Plans, organizes work, and meets all deadlines.
* Does a variety of tasks in any single day.
* Responds to emergency site maintenance as required.
* Inspects and diagnoses problems to determine corrective repairs.
* Performs on-call and preventive maintenance duties as necessary.
* Helps perform periodic stock inventories and prepare material requisitions for replacement items as required.
* Performs various lower-classified duties such as (but not limited to) file maintenance, workspace cleanup
* Ability to work overtime as needed
* Performs other duties as assigned including supporting CMMS and other departments.
