Overview: The Woodlands Hospital a primary and secondary care hospital serving North Harris and Montgomery counties. Clinical services include cardiovascular services, diagnostic imaging, women's services (digital mammography and bone density studies), neurosciences, pediatric care (Newborn and Level II nurseries) and surgery, pathology and pulmonary services, and sleep disorders. Clinical affiliations include The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center's Radiation Treatment Center, and Texas Children's Hospital. In this role, your patients will be critically ill or unstable following extensive injury, surgery, or life threatening diseases. Our nurses wear many hats daily from patient advocate to family advisor and, in some cases, even friend. Labor and Delivery Nurse Role: * Patience and focus to constantly monitor high acuity setting * Proven ability to think and react quickly in critical situations * Proficiency with laboring mothers * Passion for excellence in delivering quality care If you are ready to start a career with an established team in an organization that understands the importance of your life's calling, it's time to connect with St Luke's! Six shifts per month which includes 2 weekend shifts. One summer and 1 winter holiday per year. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Two years experience as an RN Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas BLS with skills demonstration Preferred Qualifications: Two or more years of RN experience on a L&D unit Bachelors in Nursing Preferred
