Responsibilities:
The Audio-Visual Labor Helper assists in the installation, maintenance, and support of audio-visual equipment and systems. This role provides labor support to Audio Visual Technicians by handling physical tasks, moving equipment, and preparing work areas to ensure efficient setup and maintenance of AV/IT technology for meetings, presentations, and events.
Qualifications:
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
* Assist in the loading, unloading, and transportation of audio-visual equipment and materials to and from work sites.
* Prepare and organize work areas by setting up cables, mounts, and protective coverings for AV/IT equipment installation or maintenance.
* Support Audio Visual Technicians during installation, testing, and repair tasks by providing tools, lifting, and positioning equipment.
* Clean and maintain AV/IT equipment and storage areas to ensure proper operation and organization.
* Follow safety guidelines and procedures to prevent damage to equipment and injury to personnel.
* Perform routine tasks such as cable pulling, mounting support, and basic wiring under supervision.
* Support the disposition of equipment and furniture as required
* General labor will be required such as painting, wall repair, assembly and disassembly of equipment.

* We expect the employee to keep manager and supervisors apprised of their progress, maintain ability to work well with others, adhere to contract requirements, and comply with company policies and procedures.
* Ability to effectively communicate with all team members.
* Ability to perform physical tasks involving lifting, bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
* Basic knowledge of audio-visual equipment and tools is helpful but not required; on-the-job training is provided.
* Ability to follow instructions and work effectively under supervision.
* Good communication and teamwork skills to support technical staff.
