Practical Information  

Location: Poland | Reports to: Lead Expert Technology Implementation & Consulting | Work Arrangement: Remote | Contract type: Full-time | Visa Requirements: Valid Visa for Poland | Language Requirements: Fluent/professional Polish, written and verbal; communicative English 

 We are looking for a Junior SAP Basis Consultant to join our team, delivering customer‑focused SAP Basis services to a global customer base across both project work and support activities. You will work closely with end users, IT colleagues, and clients to help identify solutions and support delivery from design through implementation and ongoing maintenance. As part of the Managed Services team, you will also contribute to day‑to‑day IT support and participate in on‑call rotations to help ensure reliable service coverage. 

Key responsibilities 

* Provide day-to-day technical support within the Managed Services team, assisting client end-users with SAP- and IT-related issues to ensure stable system operations 
* Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to SAP environments, infrastructure, software, and connectivity, escalating when needed and documenting solutions 
* Assist mid-size to large project teams with technical tasks under guidance, contributing to coordinated and timely project delivery 
* Apply and further develop foundational database and OS knowledge across non-HANA platforms (Microsoft, Oracle, DB2; Linux/Unix/Windows) 
* Contribute to and reuse SAP documentation, standards, and best practices to improve support efficiency and solution quality 
* Participate in on-call support rotations, helping maintain service continuity and reducing operational burden on the team 
* Actively engage in knowledge sharing and continuous learning, working towards SAP and platform certifications

Qualifications:

* Familiarity with SAP landscapes across OS and database platforms (Unix/Linux/Windows; Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, MaxDB) and core SAP HANA concepts 
* Hands-on experience with SAP system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting 
* Foundational knowledge of SAP technologies, including SAP HANA, SAP Basis, and authentication concepts 
* Understanding of SAP system operations such as system copies, user and transport management, job scheduling, and printer management 
* Knowledge of ITIL concepts, project-based delivery, and experience in consulting or customer-facing environments; SAP or cloud certifications are a plus 
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and solution-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt quickly 
* Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within project teams and follow technical guidance
