We are determined to leave a lasting legacy for generations to come. MPE, a division of Englobe, is seeking an Junior/Intermediate Civil Engineer to join our team in our Winnipeg office. You will join our Water Resources Engineering Team. The successful candidate will use their technical and management skills to deliver a wide variety of water conveyance and other infrastructure projects. Does this sound like the right fit for you? Responsibilities: Your main responsibilities * Management of projects, contract administration, construction management, and design engineering; * Coordination, supervision, mentoring, and management of junior engineers and technologists; * Prepare planning reports, design drawings, specifications, and contract documents; * Perform construction administration and general construction supervision duties; * Work closely with our clients to ensure their project objectives are met; * Deliver a wide variety of water conveyance and other infrastructure projects; * Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety rules. Qualifications: What makes you unique * Bachelor's degree from an accredited University in Civil or Environmental Engineering; * Registration with EGM as an Engineer (P.Eng., or E.I.T.); * 5 years (+/-) experience in engineering including design, management, construction supervision, and project management. Preferably for water resource related projects; * Experience completing hydrotechnical assessments and hydrology as well as use of hydraulic modeling software is desirable; * Self-motivated, with good leadership, project management and client management experience; and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
