Overview: Sev1Tech is seeking a Junior Cyber Engineer to support the Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic (NIWC Atlantic) Expeditionary Enterprise Systems and Services (E2S2) Division. NIWC Atlantic provides design, acquisition, and sustainment services for Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) Information Technology (IT) systems. Other duties as assigned by management. Responsibilities: * Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics with a concentration in computer science or equivalent * Dependent upon PWS tasking, individual shall be certified as Information Assurance Management (IAM) or Information Assurance Technical (IAT) or Information Assurance System Architect and Engineer (IASAE) Level I (position-based) per DoD 8570 * 6 months of professional experience * Deploys enterprise tools to enable advanced threat hunting * Implements network inspection and packet capture systems * Equipment installation including superb cable management Available to Travel up to 60 days per year / several week-long trips CONUS and OCONUS
